The Department of Parks and Recreation (DPR) and the Department of General Services (DGS) would like to inform the community that K.C. Lewis Field and Courts (200 Bryant Street, NW) will be closed starting Monday, August 3, 2026, for park renovations. Construction is scheduled to be completed in early 2027.
The K.C. Lewis Playground will also remain closed through mid‑ to late‑August for the ongoing playground renovation project. The playground is still scheduled to reopen by the beginning of the 2026–2027 school year.
