Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Homicide detectives are investigating the death of a female white adult. The incident occurred on Wednesday, November 7, 2018 at approximately 2:10 P.M. on the 44200 block 23rd St West in the city of Lancaster.
Deputies assigned to Lancaster Sheriff’s Station responded to the location for an assault with a deadly weapon call. Upon their arrival, they were directed to the victim who had sustained blunt force trauma injuries to her upper torso. The victim was pronounced dead at the scene.
The alleged suspect, a male white adult, was detained at the location without incident. He was later transported to Lancaster Sheriff’s Station for questioning.
A weapon was recovered at the scene.
The investigation is ongoing and there is no further information at this time.

Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Homicide detectives are responding to investigate the death of a female adult. The incident occurred Wednesday, November 7, 2018 at approximately 2:10 P.M. on the 44000 block of 23rd St West in the city of Lancaster.
The victim was pronounced dead at the scene and the suspect is in custody.
