On July 3, 2012 Giles County Sheriff’s Department Special Response Team, Narcotics Investigator Michael Thomason, Deputy Scott Nations along with his K-9 partner Kelly, Agent with the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation and agents with Tennessee Probation and Parole executed a search warrant at 265 Hardy Rd. Pulaski.
In a joint effort to combat illegal drugs the TBI and GCSD teamed up and obtained the drug search warrant. Officers seized 33 grams of crack cocaine, Xanax bars, over $2,500 in cash, 2 pistols and shotguns. One automobile was seized.
Arrested at the scene; Thirty-seven year old Michael W. Phillips of Pulaski a recently paroled felon from Tennessee Department of Corrections approximately two months ago. Phillips is charged with Possession of Schedule II Crack Cocaine for Resale, Unlawful drug paraphernalia and possession of a firearm during a dangerous felony. Phillips was in a room with one of the pistols that was found to be loaded with the safety off and hammer back. He remains in the Giles County Jail with a bond of $1,371,000.00.
Angela R. Kirkley thirty-two years old of Pulaski was charged with Possession of Schedule II Crack Cocaine for Resale, Unlawful drug paraphernalia and possession of a firearm during a dangerous felony. She remains in the Giles County Jail with a bond of $1,371,000.00
Bonnie K. McGlocklin thirty-two years old of Prospect was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia and simple possession with a bond of $2,000.00 and a pending charge of violation of probation and remains in the Giles County Jail.
James E. McGlocklin Jr. thirty-four years old of Prospect was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia and simple possession and posted a bond of $2,000.00 then released from Giles County Jail.
Other charges are pending on these suspects and other unnamed suspects.
This was a very productive effort on the fight against drugs between the Sheriff’s Office, Tennessee Bureau of Investigation and the Tennessee Department of Probation and Parole said Sheriff Helton.
