The SCPD 6th Precinct has an important message for the community! The next 6th Pct. Community Meeting is scheduled for Thursday Jan. 22, 2015 at 7PM at the 6th Pct., 400 Rt. 25 Selden.  Topics discussed at last December's meeting include: 1)Date and requirements for the June 13,  2015 SCPD Police Exam.  2)The Middle Island-Coram Rt. 25 corridor(traffic and crime).  3)Tips on how to be a good observer / witness.  4)Prior and future events conducted by the 6th Pct.'s COPE Unit-supporting improved interaction with adults and children in the community.  5)Noteworthy incidents/criminal trends and good arrests made by the 6th Pct. personnel in the past month.  6)A reminder to community residents that they can retrieve, at the 6th Pct., free home drug test kits through the COPE office.
