Saturday, October 21
Babylon Village- Post Office Café is hosting the annual 5K Race for Charity. Beginning in the heart of Babylon Village and ending in the municipal parking lot behind the Post Office Café. The route will be throughout the country roads of overlooking the Great South Bay.
Saturday, October 21
11:00 am – 5:00 pm- Babylon Chamber of Commerce Annual Street Fair. Deer Park Ave., from Railroad Ave. to Main St. in Babylon Village will be closed. Partial closure of Fire Island Ave., just south of Main St.
Saturday, October 21
9:00 am- Copiague Community Cares Walk for Awareness Against Drug Abuse. Beginning at Tanner Park main entrance continuing north on Baylawn, to Montauk Hwy, right to Great Neck Rd. Left on Great Neck Rd. to Dixon Ave.
Saturday, October 21
10:00 am – 12:00 pm - Deer Park High School Homecoming Parade starting at 101 Lake Ave., (JFK Intermediate School)
Traveling west on Lake Ave. to Deer Park Ave., north to Nicolls Rd., left to No. 1st St., to Deer Park High School Football parking lot.
Saturday, October 21
9:00 am - 11:00 am - Wyandanch Memorial High School Homecoming Parade will begin at the intersection at S. 18th St. & Garden City Ave. and proceed north to Long Island Ave. to Straight Path to Jamaica Ave., to the High School at S. 32nd St.
Sunday, October 22
6:00 am – 12:00 pm – Deer Park – Michael Sena’s Run for Hope 5K to bring awareness to drug addiction. This event begins and ends at 1 Falcon Place, Deer Park High School. The race will affect the following roadways: No. First St., Acorn St., Ocean Ave, Adam St., Western Ave, Nicolls Rd., Half Hollow Rd., Old Country Rd. and Jefferson Ave.
