UP DATE: 500 blk of 62nd St, device was safely removed from area. Determined to be a commercial grade firework. 
Good morning,
On April 29, 2018, at approximately 7:20 PM, Oakland Police Officers responded to the 500 block of 62nd Street on a report of a possible explosive device. The Alameda County Bomb Squad additionally responded to the scene and determined the device was a commercial grade firework. The device was safely removed from the area.
