Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Homicide detectives are continuing their investigation into the circumstances surrounding the shooting death of a man that occurred at approximately 5:35pm on Saturday, June 9, 2018, at the 44700 block of 27^th St. East, Lancaster.

Homicide detectives have learned that deputies from the Lancaster Sheriff’s Station responded to the location near the residence regarding a “gunshot victim” call.  When deputies arrived they found a male adult, suffering from gunshot wounds.

The man was transported to a local hospital where he was later pronounced dead.

A person was detained and a handgun was recovered at the scene. The investigation is ongoing and there is no further information available at this time

Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Homicide Detectives are responding to the 44700 block of 27^th Street East in the city of Lancaster, to investigate the circumstances surrounding the shooting death of a man.
 
The victim was transported to a local hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
