INCIDENT: Burglary / Child Endangerment

LOCATION: 1900 block of Erin Drive, Needles

SUSPECT(S): Steven Sheridan, 36 year old resident of Needles
Jennifer Kauffman, 30 year old resident of Needles
Ryan Rayborne, 20 year old resident of Needles
Ashley Coulston, 19 year old resident of Needles

SUMMARY:
On Tuesday, July 24, 2018, at about 8:53 a.m., Deputies and Detectives from the Colorado River Sheriff’s station / Needles Police served a search warrant at an apartment in the 1900 block of Erin Drive in Needles. The search warrant was part of an on-going burglary investigation. Steven Sheridan, Jennifer Kauffman, Ashley Coulston and Ryan Rayborne were contacted inside the apartment along with 4 children.

Evidence pertaining to the burglary was located and Steven Sheridan was arrested for burglary. During a search of the apartment suspected heroin and methamphetamine were found. The conditions inside the apartment were unsafe for the welfare of the children.

Steven Sheridan, Jennifer Kauffman, Ashley Coulston and Ryan Rayborne were all arrested for Child Endangerment and transported to the jail for booking. Coulston was released prior to being booked for medical reasons. The remaining suspects are being held on $100,000 bail. The children were released to the custody of Children and Family Services.
