On November 30, 2018, Detectives from the Ventura County Sheriff’s Office East County Street Narcotics Team concluded a narcotics sales investigation into Austin Navarro out of Canyon Country, who was involved in the sales of narcotics to residents of Ventura County.

On November 30, 2018, Narcotics Detectives conducted a traffic stop of Navarro as he left his residence in Canyon Country.  Detectives searched Navarro’s vehicle pursuant to a signed search warrant and arrested him for narcotics related charges stemming from the investigation.

Following Navarro’s arrest, Narcotics Detectives executed a search warrant at Navarro’s residence located in the 16000 block of Silver Saddle Circle in Canyon Country.  Detectives located approximately 48 grams of cocaine and 44 grams of “Molly” or MDMA which is also commonly referred to as ecstasy.  Molly is an illegal and dangerous “club drug” that is abused for its stimulant and hallucinogenic properties.  The use of Molly can lead to severe medical complications and even death.  Detectives located scales, packaging, money believed to be proceeds from narcotic sales, a loaded, unregistered firearm and a ballistic vest.

Navarro was transported to Ventura County and was subsequently booked at the Pre-Trial Detention Facility for narcotics and firearms related charges.  Navarro is currently awaiting court proceedings and his bail was set at $50,000.00.
