On December 12, 2018 at 5:34 pm, Menlo Park Police communications center received a 9-1-1 call of a subject deceased in a residence in the 900 block of Valparaiso Ave. Menlo Park Police officers responded to the residence and found an unresponsive, adult female in the home. Medical staff from Menlo Park Fire Protection District pronounced the subject deceased.
A suspect at the scene was taken into custody. Menlo Park Detectives are currently at the location investigating the scene with the assistance of the San Mateo County Crime Lab and District Attorney’s Office. The crime scene is contained, and there is no public safety threat.
