Flash Flood Warning until 08:45PM

The National Weather Service in The San Francisco Bay Area has issued a

* Flash Flood Warning for the Nuns Burn Area in... East central Sonoma County in northern California... Southwestern Napa County in northern California...

* Until 845 PM PST.

* At 738 PM PST, Doppler radar and automated rain gauges indicated that heavy rain was falling over the southern area of the Nuns burn scar. Flash flooding will occur shortly or is already occurring.

* AFFECTED AREAS: NAPA, CA ... SONOMA, CA

Instructions:

Move away from recently burned areas. Life-threatening flooding of creeks, roads and normally dry arroyos is likely. The heavy rains will likely trigger rockslides, mudslides and debris flows in steep terrain, especially in and around these areas.
