Man Arrested for Multiple Burglaries
After an investigation by Third Squad detectives, Fairbrother was arrested and charged with four counts of Burglary 3rd Degree, Criminal Mischief 4th Degree and Aggravated Unlicensed Operation of a Motor Vehicle 3rd Degree.
Fairbrother, 57, of 74 Lincoln Avenue in Central Islip, will be held overnight at the Third Precinct and is scheduled to be arraigned at First District Court in Central Islip on January 20.
A criminal charge is an accusation. A defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
Man Arrested for Multiple Burglaries 
Suffolk County Police today arrested a man who committed a string of burglaries at a strip mall in East Islip.
Gene Fairbrother committed four burglaries on Sunday, January 13, at approximately 11:45 p.m. at the following businesses all located in the strip mall at 126 East Main Street:
- Pudgies
- D.S. Happy Nail
- Lori’s Dance Center
- Verizon
