Sheriff's Detectives arrest SR man after controlled delivery of ecstasy pills.
On Monday, January 28th, Sonoma County Sheriff’s Office detectives working in conjunction with US Customs and Border Protection, US Department of Homeland Security and the US Postal Service conducted a controlled delivery of 1 kilogram of ecstasy pills (approximately 2000 total).
The pills had been intercepted at JFK Airport and were destined for an address on Delport Avenue in Santa Rosa. Upon the delivery of the package, Sonoma County Sheriff’s Office Detectives secured the residence pending the issuance of a search warrant. Seized from the residence was the delivered package containing the MDMA pills, two unregistered Glock pistols, a silencer, ammunition, body armor, over $1,000 in US Currency and a large assortment of drugs packaged for street level sales. The prepackaged drugs included cocaine, Xanax bars, MDMA pills, mushrooms, marijuana, and various prescription pills.
Martin Smith-Muchmore (29 yrs) of Santa Rosa, who is a convicted felon was arrested and booked at MADF for being armed while possessing illegal drugs, possession of narcotics for sale, felon in possession of a firearm, felon in possession of ammunition, felon in possession of body armor, possession of a silencer.
Smith-Muchmore’s remains in custody with bail set at $100,000.
