The National Weather Service in Los Angeles/Oxnard has issued a FREEZE WARNING IN EFFECT FROM MIDNIGHT TO 8 AM PST FRIDAY. Includes parts of  Santa Barbara County -  Santa Maria, Lompoc, Vandenberg, Solvang, Santa Ynez, Santa Maria, Lompoc, and Vandenberg

* TEMPERATURES...Temperatures expected to drop to between 29 and 32 degrees Friday morning. Isolated locations as low as 27.

* Impacts...A hard freeze can kill crops and sensitive vegetation, and harm outdoor pets and livestock. Extended exposure to cold can cause hypothermia. Roads may be icy in spots

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Freeze Warning means temperatures 29 and 32 for two or more consecutive hours are imminent. Protective measures to save crops and sensitive vegetation should be taken. Vulnerable animals and pets should be kept indoors in a house or barn.
