The National Weather Service predicts thunderstorms for today, Wednesday, March 6th, beginning later this afternoon and into the evening hours. This storm may drop one-half to one inch of rainfall. Rainfall on burn scar areas may cause flooding or mud flows, which are dangerous and can occur quickly without advance notice. Residents are urged to remain aware of their surroundings and be prepared to relocate quickly if needed. As a safety precaution, do not drive or walk across moving water, mud, or other debris flow. Please make sure your neighbors are alerted. This message will be updated as the situation requires. If you have an emergency, please call 911.
