On 03-04-19, at approximately 1:30 AM, SVPD Dispatch received a call from a concerned party about her 16-year-old friend. The Reporting Party stated her friend was going to sneak out of her residence in order to meet a 25-year-old male she’d been communicating with online in a sexual manner. The Victim and Suspect agreed to meet up at a 7-11 in the area of 5800 Los Angeles Ave, in the City of Simi Valley

Officers responded to the call and the agreed upon meet location. While in the area, Officers located the Suspect, later identified as Peter Corso (age 25) of Los Angeles, when he arrived in his vehicle. The subsequent investigation revealed Corso had planned to take the Victim to a hotel room in Santa Monica to engage in adult related acts.

With the popularity and ease of online match making applications, the Simi Valley Police Department would like to remind Parents of Juveniles about the dangers associated with these applications.

Corso was arrested and booked into EVSO for 288.3(a), 288.4(a)(1), and 288.4(b) PC.
