This is an update to a previous ReadyKern message concerning the evacuation recommendations for residents in the Kelso Creek communities of Powers Tract, Weldon Valley Ranchos, and Valley Estates. The evacuation recommendations for these areas have been lifted and residents may return home. Although the flooding threat is now minimal, residents should continue to be aware of their surroundings, monitor local weather, and be prepared to respond appropriately during emergencies.
