A man responsible for six armed robberies of Family Dollar stores was identified by Riverdale Police Detectives as Cory Lattimore.    Riverdale Police Chief Todd Spivey stated that his Detectives were able to link the serial robber to additional robberies of Family Dollar stores after executing a search warrant at Lattimore’s residence.  Chief Spivey commended his Detectives for the excellent police work they did to solve this case.

Yesterday, Investigators from the Riverdale Police Department were assisted by members of Sheriff Victor Hill’s elite Fugitive Squad when they captured Lattimore on Wynthorpe Way.  Lattimore wisely surrendered without a fight.  

Lattimore is now enjoying luxurious accommodations at the “Hill-ton” where he is facing the wall at Georgia’s toughest para-military jail.  When and if he is ever released from prison, Lattimore is no longer welcome to shop and enjoy the savings offered at Family Dollar stores.
