Following a pursuit, Eulogio Hernandez was arrested for felony evading & convicted felon in possession of ammunition

SUSPECT: Eulogio Hernandez, 44 year-old resident of Highland
SUMMARY:
On March 23, 2019, at approximately 10:24 P.M., Central Station Deputy B. Becker observed Eulogio Hernandez driving a green Honda Accord in the area of 16th Street and Waterman Avenue, in the city of San Bernardino and attempted a traffic stop on the Honda. The driver, later identified as Eulogio Hernandez, failed to stop and a vehicle pursuit ensued through the cities of San Bernardino, Loma Linda and Highland. During the pursuit, Hernandez drove with complete disregard for the safety of the public. The pursuit ended on the 700 block of Arrowhead Avenue, in San Bernardino. Hernandez was apprehended without further incident.
Deputy Becker located ammunition inside of the vehicle. An investigation revealed Hernandez has a prior felony conviction prohibiting him from possessing ammunition. He was arrested for felony evading and being a convicted felon in possession of ammunition and booked at West Valley Detention Center where he is being held on $100,000 bail.
