On Wednesday morning, March 27, 2019, SoCalGas reported that work at their Honor Rancho natural gas facility in Santa Clarita resulted in a brief release of liquid odorant. It has been contained and no natural gas was released. The odorant is safe, but it may be noticeable to residents especially in the Newhall Ranch Road and/or Copperhill Drive area throughout the day. The odor does not present a health or safety risk. Safety information from SoCalGas is available at: socalgascom/safety
