Suffolk County Crime Stoppers and Suffolk County Police First Squad detectives are seeking the public’s help to identify and locate two men who robbed a North Amityville convenience store earlier this year.
Two men, one armed with a knife, demanded cash from an employee at 7-Eleven, located at 827 Broadway, on January 14 at approximately 3:20 a.m. The employee complied and the men fled on foot. One suspect was described as black, approximately 5 feet 10 inches tall, heavyset and was wearing a blue glove on his left hand while holding a knife in his right. The second suspect was described as black, between 5 feet 6 inches and 5 feet 8 inches tall with a medium build.
