INCIDENT: HS 11378(a) - Transportation of Methamphetamine for Sale
LOCATION: 1300 Agate, Mentone
SUSPECT: April Larocco, Age 42, resident of Redlands
SUMMARY:
On Friday, April 26, 2019, deputies from the Yucaipa Police Station conducted a vehicle check of a red Volkswagon sedan in the 1300 Agate, Mentone. The driver and sole occupant of the vehicle was identified as Larocco. She was found to be on felony probation with a prior narcotics sales case.
During their investigation, deputies discovered Larocco was in possession of over eight grams of methamphetamine that was concealed in her underclothing. Investigation showed Larocco was transporting the methamphetamine to the Highland area where it was to be exchanged for Oxycodone and / or other prescription medications.
Larocco was arrested for transporting drugs for sale and probation violation. She was booked at Central Detention Center and is being held without bail.
