Detectives arrest Catherine Lynn Englebrick for Human Trafficking of a Juvenile and Production of Child Pornography

SUSPECT: Catherine Lynn Englebrick, 40-year-old resident of Twentynine Palms
VICTIM: Confidential Female Juvenile
SUMMARY:
In March of 2019, deputies from the San Bernardino County Sheriff's Department, Morongo Basin Station, received information from the Department of Children and Family Services, regarding the possible sexual exploitation of a minor. During a lengthy investigation, including the Morongo Basin Station, the San Bernardino County Sheriff's Department Crimes Against Children Detail, and the San Bernardino County Human Trafficking Task Force, detectives discovered during the month of August 2018, Catherine Englebrick took nude photographs of the victim. Englebrick also produced a pornographic video that included the victim. Engelbrick sold the photographs and video via social media applications. Englebrick also attempted to persuade the victim into having sex with an adult male in exchange for a cellular phone.
On Monday, April 30, 2019, a search warrant and arrest warrant were served at Englebrick's residence. Englebrick was arrested and booked into the Morongo Basin Jail for human trafficking of a juvenile, and production of child pornography.
