Deputies investigate threats related to Yucaipa High School & find NO credible threat to students/staff

INCIDENT: Possible threats to students and staff Yucaipa High School
LOCATION: 33000 Yucaipa Blvd., Yucaipa
SUMMARY:
On May 19, 2019, deputies from the Yucaipa Sheriff’s Station received information of a possible threat involving a shooting at Yucaipa High School. Students received information via social media and text messages of the possible threat to student and faculty safety. Deputies immediately initiated an investigation working with school staff to identify all parties involved and take statements. At the conclusion of the investigation the threats were found to be fabricated information. There is no known creditable threat to students or staff at Yucaipa High School.
This information is being released to quell any furtherance of the false social media posts circulating amongst the student body.
