Detectives from the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department Missing Persons Detail are seeking the public’s assistance in locating Shirley “Monkey” Kavis, 66 year-old White female.
 
Ms. Kavis was last seen on Tuesday, May 14, 2019, at 4:30 p.m., in the area of Telegraph Road and Triggs Street, East Los Angeles.  She is described as 5’7”, 149 lbs., with brown shoulder length hair and blue eyes.  She was last seen wearing a gray sweater and blue pants.
 
Ms. Kavis suffers from dementia and lives a transient lifestyle in the area of East Los Angeles.  Her family is very concerned for her wellbeing.
