Memorial Day Weekend can be a dangerous holiday for traveling on the roadways. Extra officers will be on patrol with the goal of making drivers more diligent in their driving practices.
So, please buckle up, obey the posted speed limits, put those distractions away and keep a safe distance between the vehicle in front of you.
With all of today's options for getting home safely, there's no excuse for getting behind the wheel after drinking alcohol. Driving impaired is never worth the risk, not to yourself or anyone else. If you plan on drinking, designate a sober driver. Keep yourself, your loved ones and those who share the road, SAFE.
