Mathew Hall is arrested for attempted burglary

INCIDENT: Attempted Burglary
LOCATION: 12000 block of California St, Yucaipa
SUSPECT: Matthew Hall, age 29 a Transient
VICTIM: Confidential
SUMMARY: on May 26, 2019, deputies responded to the report of an attempted burglary in the 12000 block of California Street. The owner of a business observed the suspect attempting to break into his business via remotely viewed video surveillance. The victim observed the suspect standing on a concrete K Rail attempting to pry open a window.
The victim responded to his business and observed the suspect walking nearby. The victim contacted the Yucaipa Police Department and kept watch of the suspect until deputies arrived on scene. Deputies took the suspect, Matthew Hall, into custody without incident.
At the conclusion of the investigation, Hall was booked into West Valley Detention Center with bail set at $25,000.
