DETAILS: On Friday, May 31, 2019, at 12:53AM, officers were dispatched to the area of Amarillo Boulevard and Columbine on 2 people who were shot. When officers arrived, they located a male, age 36 and female, age 33, and both had gunshot wounds. During the investigation, the officers determined the shooting happened in the 1600 block of Bluebell in front of a residence. The victims were exiting a vehicle at that location, and a black Expedition or Explorer drove by. A subject from that vehicle fired shots which struck the two victims. They were both transported to a local hospital for their injuries. This incident is still being investigated by the Amarillo PD Robbery Unit.
