The first 2019 Red Flag Warning has been issued by the National Weather Service for the North Bay hills above 1000 feet this weekend.
This warning is in effect from 11 PM this evening through 5 PM Sunday. Winds are expected to range from 15-25 mph with gusts up to 60 mph.
Outdoor burning is not recommended this weekend as grass fires could spread rapidly. A combination of strong strong winds, low relative humidity and warm temperatures can contribute to extreme fire behavior.
