Suffolk County Police last night arrested two 15-year-old males after they fled from police in a stolen car.
 
First Precinct Patrol officers observed a 2018 Honda Accord being driven erratically on Straight Path near South 24^th Street in Wyandanch at approximately 7:45 p.m. The officers identified the Honda as having been reported stolen in Nassau County on June 8, 2019 and attempted to initiate a traffic stop. The driver of the Honda failed to stop and fled the scene in the vehicle. 
 
Police Aviation Section officers tracked the Honda in a police helicopter until it stopped in the vicinity of New Highway and Ralph Avenue in Copiague at approximately 8:30 p.m. The driver and two passengers in the Honda then fled on foot. Canine Section officers tracked two of the suspects to the backyard of a nearby residence where they were arrested at approximately 9:20 p.m. The third suspect has not been located. There were no injuries.
 
First Squad detectives charged the two suspects, both 15-year-old males, as Juvenile Delinquents and released them to the custody of their parents. They are scheduled to appear in Family Court at a later date. 
 
A criminal charge is an accusation. A defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
