The Sheboygan Police Department is sponsoring a bicycle rodeo. The courses are designed to target elementary school age children, but are open to all children in or entering elementary school, and children going into 6th Grade.  The bicycle rodeo will be held at the following location;

Saturday, June 15th at St Peter Claver Church parking lot – 1439 S. 12th ST / 9:00 AM – 1:00 PM


ACTIVITIES

• Free Bike Inspection
• Free Education Skills Course
• Free Helmets & Fitting
• Raffles

Skills Course:  The bicycle skills course teaches them how to change directions, steer through tight spaces, weave and maneuver, watch for danger, properly apply the brakes, and many other skills in a safe and controlled environment. With each newly learned skill, each child will be more prepared to safely ride their bicycle around their homes, in the community, and wherever they go! Parents are welcome to a free bicycle inspection, raffles, & encouraged to join in!

The activities, topics, and skills course (1 loop) combined take about 30 minutes.

All children MUST be accompanied at all times by a parent/guardian at least 18 years of age.
