Lunch time during the summer months can be difficult for some families.
By texting the word FOOD to 877877, residents will receive a text back with a list of locations closest to your zip code that are offering free summer meal programs.
Some programs include breakfast and lunch, some are snack only and some require the parent to show proof their school aged child lives in the Lancaster area.
This is a nationwide program by No Kid Hungry, so it’s available thought the United States. With 6 out of 7 kids not getting the summer meals they need, sharing this information is critical!
