(4) Marietta City School Busses Repurposed
Cities around the United States and even in other countries have been looking for innovative ways to provide safety and protection for outdoor gatherings. Here in Marietta we have recently partnered with the Marietta City School System to procure four decommissioned busses. The busses provide easy, affordable, movable, attractive road blocks for the many times we need to close streets around the city. This will enable us to close roads and reroute traffic for sporting, entertainment events and festivals.
Adnormous Graphics, here in Marietta, won the contract to repaint and wrap the exterior of the busses. Two of the four busses are now finished and will be used for the July 4th activities. The other busses are scheduled to be refinished within a few months. While all four will be used to close roads when needed, two will also be repurposed to use as comfort stations in emergency situations.
