Apple Valley- Felony Evading/Felony Vandalism

INCIDENT: Felony Evading/Felony Vandalism

LOCATION: Bear Valley and Kiowa Road

SUSPECT: David Glen MacDonald, 31-year-old male of Victorville.


SUMMARY:

On July 4, 2019, at approximately 05:21 a.m., Deputy Macias attempted to conduct a traffic stop at the intersection of Bear Valley Road and Kiowa Road. The vehicle was a Ford, Crown Victoria, black in color, front tinted windows, with spotlights and a push bar. The driver, later identified as David MacDonald, failed to yield and continued to drive recklessly at a high rate of speed colliding into a residential chain-link fence in the 21000 block of Multnomah Road. MacDonald continued a short distance before coming to a stop, He exited the vehicle in the 12000 block of Omak Road. A short foot pursuit ensued and ended when Macdonald was found hiding under a travel trailer. MacDonald was arrested and booked at High Desert Detention Center for VC 2800.2(a) Evading a Police Officer and PC 594(a)(2) Felony Vandalism.
