The Fairfield Police Department would like to pass along a message from our partners over at Caltrans. Westbound Interstate 80 between Suisun Parkway and Suisun Valley Road will have intermittent lane closures due to concrete work on the bridge over Dan Wilson Creek.
Motorists should expect lane closures on westbound I-80 between Suisun Parkway and Suisun Valley Road between 7:00 PM and 4:00 AM Tuesday, July 9 through Friday, July 11.
On Friday, the lane closures will begin at 7:00 PM, ending at 6:00 AM Saturday, July 13, concluding the closures.
Anywhere from one to four lanes will be closed for brief periods during these intervals.
The bridge is located on westbound I-80 just west of the westbound I-80 Cordelia Truck Scales.
Please drive with caution as Caltrans employees will be on the road working. Remember to slow down in construction zones and that penalties can be doubled for traffic violations in a construction zone.
