While the temperature lately has been hot, residents of Sheboygan have seen a "cool" 5.3% reduction in accidents this year compared to last year.  The Sheboygan Police Department appreciates the efforts of drivers - being attentive, driving the speed limit, and practicing driver etiquette does reduce accidents.  The Sheboygan Police Department continues to focus traffic enforcement in various locations throughout the city.  These locations are clearly indicated through posting of enforcement signs and visual speed devices.  The areas of enforcement are not randomly selected but rather have the highest concentration of accidents thus police efforts.  So, keep being "cool" and together we can continue to drive those accident numbers down if we practice responsible driving.
