SHERIFF VICTOR HILL’S Elite Cobra Squad Returns 5 Year Old Kidnap Victim Safely Back To Mother After Pursuit!

Today, members of Sheriff Victor Hill’s elite Cobra Squad attempted to pull over a vehicle in the area of Upper Riverdale Rd and Tara Blvd.   The vehicle was occupied by Quantavious Carrol and Dontavious Eskew.  Carrol had a TPO out on him that he had violated by taking his 5 year son and hiding him at a location unknown to the child’s mother.  Carrol assumed that there was already a warrant out for him for kidnapping and began to flee northbound on I-75 while throwing a handgun out of the window.  The handgun was stolen out of Gwinnett County.

Carrol continued to lead Cobra members on a chase by getting on 285, getting off on Cascade Rd, and then continued to Fairburn Rd where he got out of the vehicle and fled on foot.  Eskew was blocked in on the passenger side and captured in the vehicle.

Carrol continued to try to avoid capture while  Atlanta Police assisted Cobra members with air support, and setting up a perimeter to cut off any means of escape.  The Sheriff’s Bloodhound “Tracker” and a assisting K-9 “Cody” were brought to the scene to hunt for Carrol.  After a 3 hour manhunt, Carrol was apprehended, but not without incident.  Carrol began to fight with with members of the Sheriff’s special forces and subsequently had to be tased.

Carrol told Deputies where he was hiding his 5 year old son and the child was happily reunited with his mother.  However, there is no happily ever after ending for Carrol because he and his freind Eskew are both now facing the wall at Georgia’s toughest para-military jail better known to all as “The Hill-ton”.
