The Fairfield PAL Center is looking for amazing staff to join our efforts to help teens grow, learn, and have fun.  Apply today to become part of a team dedicated to transforming teens through sports, recreation, academics, and more. Current openings include:

Activity Specialist
Ready to help prepare tomorrow’s problem-solvers? Help set local teens on a path to academic excellence by applying to oversee our academic / critical thinking development programs.  This position leads GPA Bootcamp workshops to develop and strengthen study skills, Breakout EDUs, career-planning workshops and participates in our restorative justice program leading Community Circles to strengthen engagement.  Position typically works Mondays through Thursdays from 2:30pm-6:30pm. $18.76 - $22.81 Hourly
 
Recreation Instructor
Ready to make a different on the front lines of juvenile justice and intervention?  The PAL Center is accepting applications for a Recreation Instructor to facilitate social, emotional and resiliency workshops and supervise service-learning community service for teens participating in the City of Fairfield / Police Department's Juvenile Diversions program.  Evidence based training and curriculum is provided.  Position typically works Mondays-Fridays from 5:30-9:30pm.   $14.96 - $18.18 Hourly
 
Applications and job descriptions can be picked up at the PAL Center during hours of operation.  The center is located at 2195 Union Avenue in Fairfield.  Must be able to pass a City of Fairfield Police Department background review and have a valid California driver’s license.  Applications will be accepted until positions are filled.
 
The Fairfield PAL program offers Fairfield, Suisun, and Travis teens a place to grow, learn, and build the skills they need today and in the future. The PAL Center offers teens a safe environment, supports working families and helps students achieve by giving them opportunities right now.
 
The Fairfield PAL Program is open to Fairfield, Suisun, and Travis students enrolled in grades seven through twelve. Memberships are $10 per year and can be purchased at the Fairfield Community Center (1000 Webster Street) Mon-Thursday between 11:30-5:30pm. A current student ID is required to register.
