This past week, several of the Fairfield Police Department’s Explorers participated in an Explorer/Cadet Academy. This year the program was held in Antioch and hosted by the Antioch Police Department. Explorers and cadets from Fairfield PD, Vacaville PD, Suisun City PD, Dixon PD, Vallejo PD, Benicia PD, Antioch PD, and the Solano Sheriff’s Office endured physical conditioning, discipline and leadership training from representatives within each agency.
We are proud of our explorers, as well as other agencies explorers and cadets, for the dedication they made to complete and graduate from this program. We hope each of these young leaders continues to grow and utilize the skills they learned to continue leading in their respective communities.
The Fairfield Police Department Explorer program is a great opportunity for youth in our community to learn about the Fairfield Police Department and law enforcement in general. If we are lucky enough, many of these young leaders will enter our profession and continue working within our community.
