INCIDENT: HS11370.1(a) - Felon in possession of a Firearm and Controlled Substance
LOCATION: 34200 block of Avenue E. Yucaipa
SUSPECT: Michael Romero, age 24 a resident of Yucaipa
SUMMARY:
On July 20, 2019, Yucaipa Deputies conducted an attempted warrant service for Michael Romero in the 34200 block of Avenue E. Romero had an active no bail warrant for his arrest for violating the terms of his Post Release Community Service (PRCS). Deputies located Romero and found he was in possession of a .22 Caliber revolver, .22 caliber ammunition, and suspected heroin.
Romero was taken into custody without incident and charged with being a felon in possession of a firearm and controlled substance. Romero was booked at the West Valley Detention Center and is being held without bail.
