Narcotic investigation leads to weapons and drug arrest.
The Fairfield Police Departments Special Operations Team (SOT) recently received information that Perry Hughes was selling narcotics in the city of Fairfield. When this information was discovered SOT Detectives began conducting a narcotic investigation on Perry. Detectives were able to gather enough information to obtain a search warrant for Perry and his residence. On July 30 SOT Detectives executed the search warrant. During the warrant Detectives located heroin, Xanax pills, cocaine, an assault rifle, three semiautomatic handguns, extended handgun and rifle magazines, and a silencer. At the conclusion of the investigation it was determined that Perry was in possession of the heroin and Xanax pills for the purpose of illegal street sales. Perry was booked into Solano County Jail for narcotic and weapons charges. Below is a photo of Perry and the items discovered during the search warrant. Street level narcotic sales are extremely toxic to neighborhoods often leading to violent crimes such as robberies, assaults and shootings. These violent crimes pose a serious risk to citizens in the community. Citizens are encouraged to contact the Fairfield Police Department if narcotic sales activity is taking place in their neighborhood.
