***Advisory – Law Enforcement Training in Progress*** Today, between 7:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m., Monday, Aug. 5, 2019, the Costa Mesa Police Department, in coordination with the Newport-Mesa Unified School District and Costa Mesa Fire & Rescue, will be conducting a training exercise at the Costa Mesa High School, located at 2650 Fairview Road. You may see a strong police presence, including SWAT and tactical equipment, Fire Department personnel and engines, school staff, and young volunteers in and around the high school. Residents in the area may hear loud noises throughout the day as we go through the training. In case your neighbor doesn’t see this message, let them know that there is no cause for concern, this is only a planned law enforcement training in progress.
