APD responded to an accident involving a vehicle and a pedestrian in the 5000 block of South Coulter. An adult male was crossing Coulter going westbound. He failed to yield the right of way to a vehicle and was struck. The male was transported to a local area hospital with possible life-threatening injuries. No one in the vehicle was injured. The southbound lanes of Coulter will be block for the next hour while the APD Traffic Unit investigates the scene.
