William Menser burglarized the home of an acquaintance, then posted the stolen items for sale on a consignment site

INCIDENT: Burglary/Possession of Stolen Property
LOCATION: 8500 block of Condalia Avenue, Yucca Valley
SUSPECT: William Leon Menser, 28-Year-old Yucca Valley resident
SUMMARY:
On Sunday, August 11, 2019, deputies from the Morongo Basin Station responded to the 8500 block of Condalia Avenue for a report of a burglary. The victim left his residence during the month of May for a week and upon his return, he discovered several items missing from his residence. The victim discovered the stolen property on an electronic consignment site. The property was sold by William Menser, who was an acquaintance of the victim.
Detectives served a search warrant at Menser’s residence and located several additional stolen items. Menser was booked into the Morongo Basin Jail for a violation of P.C. 459, Burglary, and is being held on $75,000 bail.
