APD officers received information that Matthew Dillon Jones, who is wanted for the murder of Kenee Griffing, was at a residence in the 3600 block of NE 17th Avenue. Officers at the residence saw a male matching Jones’ description look out of the back door of the residence. The male refused to exit the residence and the APD Critical Incident Response Team was called to the scene to assist. After close to an hour and a half Matthew Dillon Jones exited the residence and was taken into custody.
