LOCATION: Avenue D and 15th Street, Yucaipa, CA 92399
SUSPECT: Greg Patterson 51-year-old Resident of Yucaipa
SUMMARY:
On August 17, 2019, Yucaipa Police Department deputies conducted a traffic stop for expired registration. During the stop, deputies observed drug paraphernalia in plain view. During a search of Patterson, the driver of the vehicle, deputies located a large knife concealed on Patterson’s hip. A records check also revealed that Patterson was a registered sex offender. Patterson was arrested and booked at Central Detention Center. During the booking process, he was also found to have illegal drugs concealed on his person. Patterson faces several felony drug and weapon charges and is being held with bail set at $25,000.
