Teenage Bicyclist Seriously Injured in Motor Vehicle Crash

Suffolk County Police Seventh Squad detectives are investigating a motor vehicle crash that seriously injured a teenage bicyclist in Mastic today.  
 
Paiton Muens was struck by a 2016 Toyota RAV4, being operated by Hugo Sinay-Boch, while she was riding her bicycle northbound on Mastic Road, between Hampton Avenue and Main Avenue, at approximately 6:35 p.m. Muens, 13, of 143 Hampton Ave., Mastic, was transported to Stony Brook University Hospital in serious but non-life-threatening condition. Sinay-Boch, 30, of 16 Flower Road, Mastic was not injured.
 
The vehicle was impounded for a safety check.
