Four unknown subjects entered the liquor store at 13601 Navajo Road, stole merchandise and assaulted an employee

SUMMARY:
On Saturday, October 19, 2019, at 2:56 p.m., deputies from the Apple Valley Police Department were dispatched to an unknown problem at the Navajo Liquor located at 13601 Navajo Road, in the Town of Apple Valley. Upon arrival, deputies learned, three unknown suspects, entered the store taking six, 1-liter bottles of Brandy. The victim, a store employee, chased the suspects out of the store but could not catch them. When the victim re-entered the store, there was a fourth suspect inside. The victim asked the fourth suspect to leave. When the victim followed the suspect outside, the suspect punched him in the face. The suspect tried to re-enter the store, but the victim deployed pepper spray and held the front door closed. The suspect then fled the location in an unknown direction.
