We take this time to remind you to be extra careful as you drive tonight. Use extra caution and slow down in residential areas and when you're backing out of your driveway. Popular trick or treating hours are 5:30pm to 9:30pm, so be vigilant during that time.
If you are taking your little ones out candy hunting, make sure you take a flashlight or have kids carry glow sticks. If your kids are old enough to trick or treat on their own, make sure they walk in groups. Be sure your child's costume fits well and masks don't impede their vision, and dress warmly. It will be chilly tonight.
Most importantly, have fun! Have a happy and safe Halloween from all of us at Lancaster Sheriff's Station!
