#1 On SHERIFF VICTOR HILL’S Top Ten Most Wanted For 36 Warrants Captured By The Elite Fugitive Squad!
Mitavion Williams crime spree came to a end this morning in DeKalb County when members of the Sheriff’s elite Fugitive Squad surrounded the house he was hiding out at. At approximately 4am Williams was found hiding behind a water heater. Williams wisely surrendered peacefully, but his girlfriend did not. Clemiya Carter who happened to also be wanted out of Clayton County on traffic related charges became combative before being arrested. Both were transported to the Clayton County Jail together as a loving couple.
Mitavion Williams first came on Sheriff Victor Hill’s radar when he was a prime suspect in a drive by shooting aimed at a Sheriff’s Deputy on Kendrick Rd back in May of 2017. After the Sheriff learned that Williams had a total of 36 warrants out for his arrest to include gun related charges, Williams was placed #1 on the top ten wanted. The Sheriff also ordered his elite Fugitive Squad to hunt Williams down before Christmas since his many thefts and burglaries undoubtedly made the holidays difficult for his victims. Never to disappoint, the Fugitive Squad’s manhunt for Williams was over in less than 72 hours!
The following is a list of the 36 charges Williams was wanted for:
Violation of Probation
Firearm Possession by First Offender
Firearm Possession by Convicted Felon
Theft by Receiving x5
Criminal Trespass x5
Theft by Taking x9
Burglary x9
Obstruction of Officer x2
License-Driving Suspended/Revoked
Reckless Driving
Marijuana-Less than One Ounce
Williams and his beloved girlfriend are now both facing the wall at Georgia’s toughest para-military jail, now better known to all as “The-Hill-ton”.
